Volunteers Needed!

Do you want to make a difference in your local community, meet some wonderful students, and/or get some work experience?

We are looking for a few volunteers to help support some of our students at lunch times on our main campus. You might be asked to help them choose their meal and eat, or just stay close while they have a break from class and develop their social skills.

We are also looking for volunteers to help out in iCycle, our bike shop based in Bearwood, next door to Coffee Junction, our coffee shop on Bearwood High Street. We need people who are passionate about cycles and can explain the differences between brands. Ideally you will also have done Cytech training and be able to mend/assemble bikes, with support from our staff.

 

You need to be reliable, flexible, have a positive attitude to disability and a mature outlook on life.

We work with vulnerable adults so safeguarding is of the utmost importance to us, and you will be required to go through a DBS check (at no cost to you) and provide references.
