Queen Alexandra College appoint new Principal and Chief Executive
Queen Alexandra College (QAC) has appointed Bev Jessop as its new Principal and Chief Executive.
Bev has educational leadership experience of over 15 years at independent specialist Colleges and mainstream Colleges.
She has specialist knowledge in the fields of autism and Visual Impairment and was previously the Vice Principal, Academic at QAC prior to her appointment.
Bev said: “I am excited about the opportunities ahead for QAC and motivated to ensure that partnerships and ‘the student voice’ are meaningfully utilised to maximise adulthood opportunities for young people with learning difficulties and disabilities”.
Ian Richards, incoming Chair of Governors, said: “The whole board is delighted that Bev will be the new principal of QAC. She is well respected in the sector and will be just the kind of leader that we need to build on our already excellent reputation.”
