QAC representatives attend the Midlands Colleges Parliamentary Reception

QAC were recently invited to attend the annual "Celebrating Midlands Colleges" Parliamentary reception in London! The event, organised by the Association Of Colleges, provided a great opportunity to celebrate the significant contribution colleges make to communities and local economies in the East and West Midlands.

We do not like to miss an opportunity to spread the word about what we do, so we sent two of our Student Council Reps, Connor and Adam, as well as Deputy Principal Jan and Curriculum Area Manager Andy to represent the college!

They all had a brilliant time and were able to take away some useful information from the various speakers and guests, such as the Secretary of State for Education and a number of MPs!
