QAC 'Life after College' Transition Event Postponed
As a College we have been monitoring the situation with regards to government updates and recommendations surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Although it has not specifically been said that events and gatherings should be cancelled, the health, safety and wellbeing of our students, staff and visitors to the College is our priority. Therefore, as a precautionary measure, we have taken the decision to postpone our upcoming ‘Life after College’ transition event due to take place on Tuesday 17th March and reschedule at a later date.
We would like to reiterate that we currently have no confirmed cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19). As this is a rapidly evolving situation we are asking you to check the Public Health England website regularly to keep informed of the latest information.
You can access the most current advice and guidance from Public Health England here.

Students, staff and visitors can minimise the risk of catching it by:
- Washing hands frequently with soap and water or use a sanitiser gel
- Catching coughs and sneezes with a disposable tissue
- Throwing away used tissues (then wash hands)
- Trying not to touch your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
- Not sharing items that come into contact with your mouth such as cups and bottles
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and know that you will understand that this is not a decision that has been taken lightly, but is one that QAC is taking to minimise risk in the interests of public safety.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support in putting the health and safety of our students, staff and visitors first.
