Men's day event for QAC students

On Wednesday 27th November, we celebrated International Men’s Day. This special event was all about raising awareness, promoting wellbeing, and supporting healthy minds and bodies.

Students were able to explore a range of activities, connect with experienced staff, and discover practical tips for maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

Hear what Creative Media student James thought about the event below:

“The International Men’s Day event was good because the activities were overly exciting and there were different stalls for students to visit, I visited the blood pressure stall, table cricket and the quiz stall.

The event helped me by encouraging me to be more socially interactive than I already am, as well as hosting the event, the college helps me with my mental wellbeing by letting me have time for myself and by writing down my problems.

The day was great, and I had a wonderful time taking pictures of all the different stalls. My favourite part of the event was the table cricket stall, my least favourite part of the event was the blood pressure stall.”
