'Hearts' of England Association Donates Defibrillator to QAC

HOEA donates defibrillator to staff and students at QAC

Our Healthcare Team are delighted and extremely grateful to now be in the possession of a defibrillator that was kindly donated by Hearts of England Association (HOEA).

HOEA Chairman, Stephen Ward, along with Secretary, David Willetts, and committee member, Gill Fogg, paid QAC a visit to present the defibrillator to our Assistant Director of Care Services, Louise Smith, and two of our students, Rachel and Beth.

The defibrillator is a model that is suitable for use in schools, colleges and shopping centres and can be used by staff trained in CPR.

HOEA are a local voluntary run charity based in the West Midlands that support specific projects identified by cardiology departments of local hospitals in addition to offering support to schools, sports clubs and community clinics.
