Dinner in the Dark 2015

We were delighted to welcome more than 60 guests including West Bromwich MP Adrian Bailey, The Albion Foundation and former QAC student and current College Governor ‘Blind Dave’ Heeley to the Macdonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham for one of our popular ‘Dinner in the Dark’ events.

Guests were able to enjoy a festive two course meal with a difference as the banqueting suite was plunged into darkness following the champagne reception.

Fundraising & Grants Manager Sarah Caldwell said; “The event went really well, everyone had a great time. People who have known Dave Heeley for years got to spend a couple of hours in his shoes and experience for themselves what it is like for him, and others who are blind, to do something we normally take for granted!”
