QAC has a dedicated IT Karten Centre in which ICT courses are based. The Karten Centre is a well equipped, quiet and relaxed place to study, yet being easily accessible to all other areas of the campus.
You might choose a qualification which focuses on the use of ICT and how it can be effectively used in the work place. You may be looking for qualifications which explore web design, databases, spreadsheets and word processing and enable you to apply your ICT knowledge to Art and Design, Computer Aided Design and computer numerical control. You may want to learn more about the technical side of IT and will be able to use our dedicated base room in the Karten Centre for developing skills in hardware repair and building.
Progression could take you into further or higher education, on to a Supported Internship placement or into paid employment in an ICT related job. You may wish to undertake an Apprentice or Work based training route.
