Work Placement Case Study - LEAP Retail and Business

ROLE: Shop Assistant

As part of their programme, our LEAP Hub Business & Retail group are responsible for the on-site shop, and the students undertake work experience daily - Monday to Friday, helping them to develop their knowledge and understanding of the Retail industry and potential career pathways. 

During their time working in the 'Treasure Box' shop students are able to develop customer service skills, money handling and stocking shelves growing their confidence in the shop on-site helps with their careers in the future after leaving college. 

The group will also offer a delivery service for the staff and students across campus, helping to develop their customer service skills.
