Work placement helps LEAP Hub Sport & Leisure students to kick-off their future career aspirations

Students from our LEAP Hub Sport & Leisure programme have had the opportunity to experience working in the community through an exciting placement linked to their course with The Aston Villa Foundation.

 

 

Working alongside Aston Villa FC coaches, the group have been busy developing their leadership skills by supporting multi-sports sessions for participants from day care centres, engaging them in a variety of activities. 

 

 

The placement has enabled students to experience working with new people, improve their communication skills and follow instructions. It has given them an insight into the world of work, as well as starting to think about their future next steps within the sport and active leisure industry.
