Student causes a stir at Coffee Junction

One of our BTEC Hospitality students has commenced a regular placement within Coffee Junction - our social enterprise cafe situated in Bearwood.

Jim, now in his third year of study at QAC, has been working with Ismail (Coffee Junction Manager) and his team to gain the skills required to work in a busy cafe environment.

The team have been thrilled with the way in which Jim has risen to the challenge, and he is also proving to be popular with the regulars - largely due to his excellent customer service skills and winning smile.

"It's a good work placement and has given me a great idea of what it is like to work within the hospitality industry. Hot chocolate is my favourite drink to make.....although I am a tea drinker myself" says Jim.

Recently opened, Coffee Junction is proving to be incredibly popular with the Bearwood community and continues to go from strength to strength. Our opening hours are; 8am - 5pm (Monday to Friday), 9am - 5pm (Saturday) and 10am - 3pm (Sunday).
