QAC Football showcase their skills in another tournament!

On Thursday 23rd January, QAC’s football team proudly represented us in the January fixture league matches held at Dudley College.

Michael told us “Being part of the team has boosted my confidence and made me feel good about myself. Representing the college and being part of a squad is a great experience.”

The team played a total of 5 matches, achieving the following results:

QAC vs Hereford: 1-2

QAC vs Dudley Aspire: 2-0

QAC vs Dudley SU: 0-1

QAC vs Wolverhampton College: 1-0

QAC vs HBFC: 0-1

Team Captain Illious stated “Playing for the college football team has been a brilliant experience. I really enjoy meeting players from other colleges and making new social connections. This year, being chosen as team captain has been an amazing opportunity. It’s helped me build leadership skills and boosted my confidence, which has also improved my performance for the team.”

With the team winning 2 out of the 5 games, the students stayed positive throughout the day. Hamza who supports the team said “Our learners who are members of the QAC football team have demonstrated remarkable commitment and dedication. They consistently show up, give their best effort, and contribute to building a team they are proud to be part of. This spirit of collaboration is fostering a strong sense of teamwork. They are also developing valuable skills and abilities that will serve them well as they transition into life after college.”
