PFL Blue students raise money for Summerfield Stables

Students from our Preperation for Life (PFL) Blue group organised a fantastic sale event that raised over £200 for the Summerfield Stables charity in Birmingham!  

The event took place on Wednesday 22 March in College. There were plenty of amazing items for sale, including handmade crafts, donated goods, jewellery, books and CD's and much much more. All proceeds will go directly to Summerfield Stables, to be handed over in person by our students. Summerfield stables provides therapeutic horse riding sessions for people with disabilities, and aims to introduce children and young adults to understanding and interacting with horses.

We're so proud of the students in PFL Blue for taking the initiative to organise this event and support such an important cause. It's wonderful to see our students using their skills and creativity to make a positive impact in the community. Further, a great demonstration of their Maths and English Language abilities were displayed during the entirety of the event, highlighting great personal and individual growth.
