Birmingham Sight Loss Council and QAC Students and Staff consult on city development

Recently, some of our students and staff were involved with the Birmingham Sight Loss Council's consultation on the development of the Birmingham Snow Hill area!

The Birmingham Sight Loss Council hosted a “blindfold walk” for the developers including an architect from Broadway Malyan and an Engineer from Birmingham City Council. The developers wore simulation specs and were guided around Birmingham with the use of a cane.

The developers commented on their experience, finding it very useful and it is great for the Birmingham Sight Loss Council to have their say to shape the new developments!
